ABOUT
BIO
STACY PETERSON has a gift for uncovering authenticity and the emotional core in every story she edits. She gravitates toward projects with dynamic, original narratives, a focus on underrepresented voices, and an honest lens on real life. Her intuitive and lyrical editing style shines in standout campaigns for The Met (‘Osmosis’), Kaiser Permanente (‘Above The Waves’), and Gillette (‘Your Best Never Comes Easy’), as well as Equinox’s empowering Pride short, ‘LGBTQAlphabet’.
After leaving small-town Wisconsin to earn a film degree from Northwestern University, Stacy moved to New York to launch her editing career. She has since collaborated with top directors, including Floyd Russ (Partizan), Arturo Perez Jr. (Park Pictures), Jordan Bahat (Golden), and Aqsa + John X. (Tool), as well as agencies Wieden+Kennedy, Translation, and Arts & Letters. Recent honors include two AICP Post Awards for Editorial: Docu-Style, multiple Clios for Film Craft: Editing, and a Bronze Cannes Lion for Dove ‘As Early As Five’ in the category of Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility.
Stacy’s ability to shape visually stunning and emotionally resonant stories has made her a sought-after editor across advertising, documentary, and branded content.
